As part of the 2024 professional training program for the Association, on the morning of March 14, the Provincial Farmers' Association organized for more than 200 officials of the Provincial and District Farmers' Associations and communes, wards and towns in the province to visit and learn from the experience of cooperatives raising deer and growing custard apples in the off-season in Phu Long commune (Nho Quan).
Visiting the deer farming cooperative, representatives of the Farmers' Association at all levels exchanged some experiences in organizing and effectively implementing the deer farming development model such as: Selecting breeds and effective care and raising processes; how to build barns, food rations, disease prevention and control, how to raise animals in the direction of biosafety; effective deer antler cutting techniques and linking product consumption outputs...
At the off-season custard apple growing cooperative, officials of the Farmers' Association at all levels were introduced by the Chairman of the off-season custard apple growing cooperative of Phu Long commune on techniques for planting, caring for and harvesting off-season custard apples, measures for pollinating custard apples, preventing and controlling pests and diseases on custard apple trees, and how to cut and prune custard apple branches. In particular, to have high yield and quality of off-season custard apple trees, custard apple growers need to strictly follow the technical process of caring for custard apple trees immediately after the main harvest season ends.

Through the field trip, the Farmers' Association officials at all levels will exchange experiences and improve their knowledge in practical activities on new models and good practices to effectively implement the economic development movement in the province, contributing to restructuring the agricultural sector towards increasing added value and sustainable development.
