Space of the 8th Hanoi Book Fair - 2023
Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day is organized in a diverse and rich way, combining traditional activities with modern organization methods following the development trend of electronic publishing; applying information technology to digital transformation to create new values with the message: "Good books need readers"; "Precious books for friends"; "Give good books - Buy real books"; "Good books: Eyes read - Ears listen".
The opening ceremony of the third Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day will be held at 8pm on April 17 at the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam. Immediately after the opening ceremony, the Book Fair will take place until April 21.
The Book Fair is a key activity to celebrate Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2024. The event includes activities to display book models, introduce and promote books from publishers, distribution companies, and technology companies. It is expected that 60 units will participate, with about 40,000 book titles.
During the Book Fair, there will be book introduction events, discussions, author and work exchanges, and art programs.
Also on this occasion, agencies, organizations, departments, branches, districts, towns of Hanoi will also organize activities in response to the third Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day - 2024.
At the same time, the library system, publishing and distribution units of Hanoi will organize activities and events to exchange books, participate in events in response to Book Day and reading culture.
