Sports festival for civil servants and employees of the banking sector in Tra Vinh province

On May 25 and 26, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) Tra Vinh branch (representing the Vietnam Banking Trade Union in Tra Vinh province) coordinated with credit institutions in the province to organize the 18th sports festival for civil servants and employees of the banking sector in Tra Vinh province in 2024.

Mr. Nguyen Van Nhu, Deputy Director, Chairman of the Trade Union of the State Bank of Vietnam, Tra Vinh province branch, delivered the opening speech at the sports festival.

Attending the closing ceremony and awarding ceremony were comrade Nguyen Van Tam, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises; representative of the State Bank of Vietnam; comrade Le Van Hai, Director of the State Bank of Vietnam, Tra Vinh Province Branch; Nguyen Van Nhu, Deputy Director, Chairman of the Trade Union of the State Bank of Vietnam, Tra Vinh Province Branch, Chief Representative of the Trade Union of Vietnam Banks in Tra Vinh Province, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Sports Festival; members of the Organizing Committee of the Sports Festival, directors, deputy directors, chairmen of the trade unions of branches of commercial banks and people's credit funds in the province.

Comrade Nguyen Van Tam, Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of the Party Committee of Provincial Agencies and Enterprises presented rotating flags to the teams.

The sports festival gathered more than 400 athletes and supporters from branches of commercial banks, Social Policy Bank, Cooperative Bank and People's Credit Funds in the province, participating in 4 competitions: badminton, tennis, women's volleyball, mini soccer.

Comrade Le Van Hai, Director of the State Bank of Vietnam, Tra Vinh province branch, presented flowers to the teams.

With the spirit of sportsmanship , solidarity, honesty and nobility, after 2 days of exciting competition, the Organizing Committee awarded 49 prizes, including First, Second and Third prizes. Of which:

Badminton has 27 prizes (First prize in men's and women's doubles (middle-aged) : Phan Nhat Linh and Le Thi Phuong Hong, SBV; First prize in men's doubles: joint team Nguyen Hung Dung (Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development) and Kien Xanh (Industrial and Commercial Bank); First prize in men's doubles for leaders: Le Van Son and Nguyen Van Dau ( Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development ) ; First prize in men's and women's doubles: Nguyen Binh Dang and Nguyen Thi Mai ( Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development ) ;

Tennis: 12 prizes: First prize in men's and women's doubles: Duong Vinh Lam and Nguyen Thi My Hanh (Industrial and Commercial Bank); First prize in men's doubles: Doan Trong Tin and Nguyen Phuong Thanh (Investment and Development Bank); First prize in men's singles: Do Thanh Hoang (Asia Commercial Bank);

Mini football 04 prizes, Social Policy Bank 1st prize;

Women's volleyball 04 prizes, Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank won first prize.

In addition, the Organizing Committee awarded 02 prizes to the oldest athletes (male - female).

The final match of women's volleyball between the Social Policy Bank team and the Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank team.

The sports festival aims to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere, enhance solidarity, exchange and share experiences between civil servants and employees of the banking industry, contributing to improving health as well as successfully completing the industry's tasks in the province in 2024.

Leaders of the Party Committee of Agencies and Enterprises, State Bank of Vietnam, Tra Vinh province branch, commercial banks, athletes and fans took photos at the opening ceremony.

Mr. Vi Xuan Diem, Deputy Head of the Issuance and Treasury Department of the State Bank of Vietnam, presented awards to the winning athletes of the badminton event for leaders.

Mr. Nguyen Van Huong, Deputy Director in charge of the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, Tra Vinh province branch, awarded prizes to male athletes who won badminton prizes.

Mr. Nguyen Van Nhu, Deputy Director of the State Bank of Vietnam, Tra Vinh province branch, awarded the first prize in women's volleyball to Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank.

Comrade Nguyen Van Tam, Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Agencies and Enterprises, awarded the First Prize in mini football to the Bank for Social Policies.
