Sports Festival of the Central Highlands Statistical Office

On May 6 and 7, the 7th Sports Festival of the Central Highlands Statistical Offices was held in Buon Ma Thuot City, hosted by the Dak Lak Statistical Office.

The sports festival was attended by 200 athletes from the Department of Statistics of the provinces: Lam Dong, Dak Nong , Kon Tum, Gia Lai and Dak Lak. The athletes competed for 17 sets of medals in the following sports: badminton, table tennis, pot smashing, and sack jumping.

The sports festival is held every two years, creating opportunities for civil servants, public employees, and workers in the Statistics sector in the Central Highlands region to exchange and learn, thereby encouraging the movement of sports practice, physical training, and serving well the tasks at the unit.

The organizers awarded the badminton athlete, men's doubles over 40 years old.

At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded 17 sets of medals to individuals and groups with high achievements; the first prize for the whole team went to the Statistics Department of Dak Nong province, the second prize: Statistics Department of Kon Tum province, and the third prize: Statistics Department of Dak Lak province.
