Handling 84 violations during peak period of market inspection and control

The provincial Market Management Department (QLTT) said that during the peak period of the fight to prevent and repel smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and infringement of intellectual property rights (from May 15 to June 15, 2025), the affiliated Market Management teams closely coordinated with relevant functional forces to strengthen market inspection and control.

Thereby, 84 violations were detected and handled, including nearly 30 violations on e-commerce platforms, with a total amount of money collected to the state budget of more than 1.7 billion VND. At the same time, the quantity of violating goods with a total value of nearly 1.4 billion VND was forced to be destroyed.

The main violations are trading in cosmetics and food of unknown origin and counterfeiting of trademarks.

Market management forces discovered a business selling frozen foods of unknown origin in Tan An ward, Buon Ma Thuot city.

Along with inspection work, the Market Management force has also combined information, propaganda and mobilization of organizations and individuals operating in production and business in the province to seriously implement current legal regulations; warn consumers about unsafe products and commercial fraud...
