Bac Kan: An outstanding journalist was honored nationwide

BBK - On June 20, at the Presidential Palace, President Luong Cuong met and honored outstanding journalists nationwide representing journalists nationwide on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025).

President Luong Cuong took souvenir photos with journalists and outstanding journalists at the meeting and commendation ceremony.

In a solemn and warm, joyful and emotional atmosphere, 150 outstanding journalists representing nearly 41,000 journalists nationwide are working day and night, dedicating themselves to fulfilling their mission as journalists, serving the country and the people.

Bac Kan province is honored to have one outstanding journalist, Ms. Dang Thi Thanh Mai, reporter of the Editorial Department, Bac Kan Provincial Radio and Television Station, who was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission for her outstanding achievements in the emulation movement to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.

Outstanding journalist Dang Thi Thanh Mai, reporter of the Editorial Department, Radio and Television Station of Bac Kan province, was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Central Propaganda Department and the Central Committee.

At the meeting, journalists, press workers, and leaders of press agencies spoke to review the glorious tradition, important and great contributions, and noble mission of the Vietnamese revolutionary press over the past 100 years; shared the advantages and difficulties of journalism in the new era, from content, technology, people to working methods, to adapt to the new context and better serve the revolutionary cause in the new period./.
