The first Vietnam Talent Chef Competition will be held on August 12 in Lam Dong.

With the theme of Flavors of the Highlands and the Sea, the 1st Vietnam Talent Chef Competition - 2025 will be held in Lam Dong province on August 12, 2025.

The competition is hosted by the Lam Dong Chefs Association, under the auspices of the Vietnam Tourism Association (VITA), the Vietnam Kitchen Federation (VCF), and the Lam Dong Tourism Association (LTA). This is a major professional event, aiming to honor the value of Vietnamese cuisine , connect the chef community of the three regions and elevate local delicacies.

The event is expected to gather more than 90 talented chefs from provinces and cities across the country to compete in creating and promoting dishes of the Flavors of the Highlands and the Sea.

The program will be held on August 12, at Arapang Restaurant - TTC Valley of Love Tourist Area. Chefs will register to compete in teams of 3 members to prepare 3 dishes: Appetizer, main course, dessert; or party dish, street food, regional specialty dish...

The jury will score on a 100-point scale, including 5 criteria: flavor (30 points), presentation (20 points), creativity (20 points), technique (20 points); at the same time, they will select and award team prizes (first, second, third, encouragement) and individual prizes (champion and cup, runner-up, third prize and culinary creativity prize).

All contestants will receive a Vietnam Talent Chef 2025 Certificate issued by VCF – which is nationally and internationally recognized.

In recent years, Lam Dong Chefs Association has organized many chef competitions, food competitions, culinary record-setting competitions... very successfully and created prestige in the national chef community. Typically, the Competition to establish the Record of 100 Vietnamese Vegetable and Flower Dishes in 2021, the Competition to establish the Record of 100 Vietnamese Artichoke Dishes in 2023...
