Ham Tan Commune Farmers' Association towards a term of solidarity and development

On the morning of October 16, Ham Tan Commune Farmers' Association held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term, with 98 delegates representing more than 4,000 farmer members in the area attending.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Han, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial Farmers' Association; Mr. Duong Van Dong, Secretary of Ham Tan Commune Party Committee attended the Congress.

During the past term, the farmers' movement and the work of building the Farmers' Association have had many positive changes, contributing to building the "Great National Unity" bloc and increasingly affirming the central and core role in the farmers' movement in the work of building new rural areas.

Cultural performance to welcome the Congress

Currently, the Farmers' Association of Ham Tan commune has 4,024 members, operating in 22 branches and 87 groups. The Association has actively mobilized cadres and members to respond to patriotic emulation movements, contributing to the "For the Poor" fund, reaching 119.2% of the plan, thereby building and repairing 13 houses for members in difficult circumstances.

Notably, the movement "Farmers participate in building rural infrastructure" has been effectively implemented. The Association has mobilized members and farmers to donate land, contribute money and working days to concretize 73 roads with a total length of more than 22km, the total value of contributions from people and farmer members reached 7.56 billion VND. In the period of 2023 - 2025, the whole commune has 1,300 households achieving the title of Good Farmers in production and business at all levels, continuing to affirm the role of farmers in local socio -economic development.

The Decision to appoint the Executive Committee of the Farmers' Association of Ham Tan commune for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 23 members, was announced. Ms. Tran Thi My Linh, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, holds the position of Chairwoman of the Farmers' Association of Ham Tan commune for the 2025-2030 term.
