Lam Dong supports 12 billion VND to help people in 6 provinces overcome damage caused by storms and floods.

The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province has just issued a Decision on allocating the Provincial Relief Fund to support localities severely damaged by storm No. 10.

Party Committees and People of communes, wards and special zones presented symbolic boards to support people affected by storms and floods at the 1st Lam Dong Provincial Party Congress.

Accordingly, Lam Dong province will allocate 12 billion VND from the Provincial Relief Fund to support people in 6 provinces, including: Lang Son, Cao Bang , Lao Cai, Son La, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An. Each province will receive 2 billion VND in support.

This fund is transferred directly to the Relief Fund accounts of the above provinces to promptly serve the work of overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and stabilizing the lives of people in affected areas.

The Decision was issued on the basis of Notice No. 02-TB/TU, dated October 15, 2025 of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee, on the policy of allocating funds to support people affected by storms and floods in 2025.

The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province requested the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of the provinces receiving support to receive and use the funds for the right purposes, ensuring publicity, transparency, and timely delivery to people in difficulty.

This is the first support (phase 1), part of the total amount of more than 28.5 billion VND that the Party Committee and People of 124 communes, wards, special zones and 4 Party Committees directly under the Provincial Party Committee supported at the 1st Congress of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee, which took place from October 9 to 11. Thereby, it contributes to sharing the difficulties with the people of the localities who are making efforts to overcome the consequences of storms and floods, and soon stabilize their lives.
