Early completion of the target of eliminating 12,520 temporary and dilapidated houses
On the morning of December 4, the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Gia Lai province, term 2025 - 2030 officially opened.

Attending and directing the congress was Mr. Hoang Cong Thuy, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
In his opening speech, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Ngoc Luong emphasized that the Congress is an important political event, creating a new momentum and strengthening people's trust in the development policies of Gia Lai province in the new period. The Congress carries out the task of evaluating the results of the implementation of the Resolution of the previous term, drawing lessons and proposing an action program for the 2025 - 2030 term in the spirit of solidarity, democracy and innovation.
Reporting at the Congress, Permanent Vice Chairman Tran Minh Son said that the Fatherland Front system at all levels had quickly stabilized after the merger, perfecting the organization in 135 communes and wards and establishing 10 provincial-level advisory boards. After only 5 months of operating the new model, the apparatus operated smoothly, without interruption of political tasks.

Many movements and campaigns have achieved remarkable results, especially the goal of eliminating temporary housing by 2025 was completed early with 12,520 houses supported. The movement to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas continues to spread strongly, with many effective models and great contributions from the people. The program to change the thinking and working methods of ethnic minorities has achieved remarkable results, contributing to reducing more than 13,000 poor households.
Make Gia Lai a fairly developed province of the country
Directing at the congress, Mr. Hoang Cong Thuy, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, suggested taking the people as the center, subject, goal and driving force of innovation; combining democracy - discipline - rule of law; shifting from formal movements to substantive results to serve as a guiding principle throughout the Front's work in this term.

Mr. Hoang Cong Thuy proposed that the Congress consider and specify some key contents in the resolution and action program for the next term.
The Front at all levels needs to gather and unite all classes of people; arouse and promote cultural values, creativity and dedication of the people; create strong endogenous resources, foster the aspiration to build a rich and civilized homeland; promote the intelligence, efforts and resources of the people to realize the goal of making Gia Lai a fairly developed province of the country.
The Congress also consulted 134 members of the first Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, electing a delegation to attend the National Congress. Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Luong continued to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Tran Minh Son held the position of Permanent Vice Chairman.

The Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front also presented a symbolic plaque to support 30 billion VND to the people of Gia Lai province who suffered damage due to storms and floods.
