Krong No promotes the movement "Exemplary veterans"

On October 16, the Veterans Association of Krong No commune (Lam Dong) held its first Congress of delegates for the 2025-2030 term.

During the past term, the Association of War Veterans of Krong No commune achieved and exceeded 10 set targets.

The Association of War Veterans of Krong No commune was merged from the Association of War Veterans of Dak Mam town, Dak Dro commune and Tan Thanh commune (old). In the period of 2022 - 2025, the Association of War Veterans of Krong No commune has promoted the spirit of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" to achieve and exceed 10 set targets. Cadres and members of the Association of War Veterans in the commune always clearly identify their roles and responsibilities in participating in building and protecting the Party, government and socialist regime.

Promoting the spirit of self-reliance, participating in economic development, and helping each other to sustainably reduce poverty is emphasized. The Association maintains activities of solidarity such as: supporting capital, seedlings, working days, construction materials, visiting and giving gifts to members in difficulty and misfortune... The whole Association has built a fund of over 1 billion VND to help poor members borrow to develop the economy; maintaining many models of helping each other develop the economy, 5 + 1 (5 well-off members help 1 poor member)...

The work of educating the young generation on the tradition of patriotism and revolutionary heroism is carried out regularly. The whole association has organized 10 traditional talks for over 4,000 youth union members, students and teachers.

The Executive Committee of the Association of War Veterans of Krong No commune was introduced to receive its duties.

The Congress announced the Decision to appoint the Executive Committee of the Association of War Veterans of Krong No commune for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 25 members; the Standing Committee consists of 5 members. Mr. Tran Van Quy was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Association of War Veterans of Krong No commune for the 2025-2030 term.
