(NADS) - On the morning of February 13, in the light rain of a tropical depression, Ho Chi Minh City and the whole country solemnly held a military enlistment ceremony, sending off young men to join the army. The military enlistment ceremony took place solemnly and emotionally with the participation of district leaders, military units, families and many local people.
Photo & Life reporter recorded that in Tan Phu district, before the departure date, the district organized a military camp with the participation of 247 new recruits. This was an opportunity for young soldiers to exchange and share their pride and determination before entering the military and public security environment. The camp was not only a place to preserve beautiful memories but also helped young people become more aware of their responsibilities to the Fatherland.
On the morning of February 13, the official military enlistment ceremony took place. 247 young soldiers of Tan Phu district were ready to join the army, of which 197 soldiers joined the military service; 50 soldiers joined the people's police service.
The district's new recruits were assigned to four units: Air Defense Brigade 77, Gia Dinh Regiment, Regiment 4 - Division 5, Southern Branch - Armored School 22.
The tight hugs, tears and pride of parents, relatives and friends when seeing the soldiers off made the atmosphere of the ceremony even more emotional.
Not only Tan Phu district, this morning, the whole Ho Chi Minh city simultaneously held a military enlistment ceremony with nearly 4,200 young men joining the army. Young people with enthusiasm, with a desire to contribute, ready to put aside personal ambitions to carry out the sacred duty to the country.
Under the light rain of early spring, the image of troops moving forward is a strong affirmation of patriotism, civic responsibility and the heroic tradition of the nation. The young soldiers carry within them faith, will, and are ready to dedicate themselves to the Fatherland, continuing the golden history of many generations of fathers and brothers.
