The new point this year is that candidates only need to register their wishes according to their major and study program, without having to write down a specific admission method.
The Ministryof Education and Training notes that the first choice is the most priority choice and when filtering virtually, candidates are only admitted to one choice, so candidates need to arrange the order according to their wishes.
According to the admission schedule, universities will announce the admission results early for candidates to register for admission on the System, no later than 5:00 p.m. on July 8.
On July 25, the Ministry of Education and Training announced the threshold to ensure input quality for the health sector and teacher training sector.
From July 31 to 5:00 p.m. August 6, candidates pay admission fees online.
From August 12 to August 20, the Ministry of Education and Training and schools will begin the admission process and process applications, thereby determining the highest application for candidates eligible for admission.
From 5:00 p.m. on August 22, schools will announce the benchmark scores and list of candidates admitted in the first round, and from 5:00 p.m. on September 6, candidates will confirm their admission online on the Ministry's system.
According to statistics from the Ministry of Education and Training, of the more than 1 million candidates taking the high school graduation exam this year, 89.52% of candidates registered to take the exam both for graduation and for admission to university or college.
The results of the 2023 high school graduation exam will be announced simultaneously by localities at 8:00 a.m. on July 18.
