More than 130,000 candidates registered for the first round of the HCM City National University Entrance Exam

After 30 days of opening the first registration portal, more than 130,000 candidates have registered for the 2025 capacity assessment exam of Ho Chi Minh City National University.

According to information from the Center for Testing and Training Quality Assessment of Ho Chi Minh City National University, from January 20 to February 20, 2025, Ho Chi Minh City National University opened the registration portal for the first round of the 2025 National High School Graduation Exam.

Up to now, there have been 130,489 candidates registered, this number is considered a record compared to previous years. Of which, 127,964 candidates have completed the exam fee payment procedure. Completion of exam fee payment is by February 23 (changed from the previous plan of February 21), so the number of candidates officially registered for the exam is expected to increase.

The first round of the Ho Chi Minh City National University Entrance Exam was held in 25 provinces/cities, including: Thua Thien Hue, Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Binh Thuan, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Tien Giang, Ben Tre, Dong Thap, Vinh Long, An Giang , Can Tho, Kien Giang, Bac Lieu and Ca Mau.

The school will only hold the exam on March 30. The results are expected to be announced on April 16, 2025.

In addition, the school also organizes the second registration period from April 17 to May 7, 2025.

The exam took place in 11 provinces/cities, including: Thua Thien Hue, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau , Tien Giang and An Giang.

Exam will be held on June 1, 2025. Results will be announced on June 16, 2025.

Candidates register for the exam completely online, each candidate uses 1 account to register, print the exam notification form, view exam results and download the result notification form.

During the registration and exam process, candidates will be scheduled to take the exam at the nearest exam location. The exam notification form is created about a week before the exam date. Candidates must log in to their account to print the exam notification form and use it when taking the exam. At the same time, candidates must use the original citizen identification card or identification card when taking the exam.
