More than 3,000 delegates attended the conference of reporters

On the morning of November 21, at An Giang Telecommunications, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of An Giang Provincial Party Committee organized a conference of Provincial Party Committee reporters for November 2025 through direct and online connections at 103 points of the province and affiliated communes, wards, and special zones with 3,053 delegates attending. The conference approved two topics: An Giang focuses on effectively implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation; implementing Regulation No. 144-QD/TW, dated May 9, 2024 of the Politburo stipulating revolutionary ethical standards for cadres and party members in the new period and Directive No. 42-CT/TW, dated January 16, 2025 of the Politburo on strengthening the Party's leadership in education work on diligence, thrift, integrity, uprightness, impartiality.

Regarding the development breakthrough content according to Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, the province identified and approved 7 key task groups according to Plan 132/KH-UBND, dated October 7, 2025 of the People's Committee of An Giang province.

After nearly 10 months of implementation, the work of developing science, technology, innovation and digital transformation in the province has had positive changes, achieving important initial results. However, there are still some difficulties and limitations. The number of documents that need to be issued to complete institutions, policies and regulations for science, technology, innovation and digital transformation is still large. Infrastructure and information technology equipment in many places are degraded, lacking synchronization, and need to be invested and replaced (especially at the commune level). Conditions and capabilities to exploit and use digital platforms and services are still limited; this affects the promotion of comprehensive digital transformation, especially the digital economy and digital society.

Some islands in the province still do not have national grid electricity and fiber optic infrastructure, causing difficulties for information and communication. Research and application of science and technology have not created a breakthrough for socio-economic development; the province's creative startup ecosystem has not fully developed. The province's digital transformation index (DTI) and innovation index (PII) are still low. The province has identified 6 key tasks to be implemented in the coming time.

The implementation of Regulation No. 144-QD/TW and Directive No. 42-CT/TW has two new points: defining revolutionary ethical standards and criteria for evaluating the implementation of standards; suitable for the new stage of our country's revolutionary cause.

The province developed Plan No. 26-KH/TU, dated September 22, 2025, on implementing Regulation No. 144-QD/TW with 2 tasks and solutions: Regularly organize activities, propagate, raise awareness and actions of the entire political system in implementing Regulation No. 144-QD/TW; effectively implement 5 revolutionary ethical standards of cadres and party members in the new period with 5 revolutionary ethical standards and 19 evaluation criteria.
