More than 3,800 contract teachers under Decree No. 111 have signed 12-month contracts.

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - The Standing Committee of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee has just concluded the policy of signing labor contracts for teachers according to Decree No. 111/2022/ND-CP (contract 111) for the 2025-2026 school year, with the implementation period from June 2025 to the end of May 2026. Thus, with this new policy, teachers with contract 111 will no longer worry about becoming "seasonal workers" because they are only allowed to sign a 9-month contract as before.

Previously, on June 2, 2025, at the Conference of the Standing Committee of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, after listening to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee's report and asking for opinions on the assignment of the number of contract workers working as teachers receiving financial support in public preschool and generaleducation institutions in the province for the 2025-2026 school year according to Decree No. 111/2022/ND-CP of the Government; comments from members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and delegates attending the conference; The Provincial Party Standing Committee has agreed on the policy of assigning the number of contract workers working as teachers to receive financial support in public preschool and general education institutions in the province for the 2025-2026 school year according to Decree No. 111/2022/ND-CP of the Government, at the request of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee in Document No. 107-TTr/DU dated May 28, 2025.

Specifically, the target for labor contracts is 3,840 people. Of which, 960 are in preschool; 1,152 are in primary school; 1,422 are in secondary school and 306 are in high school. Along with that, the Standing Committee of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee also agreed on the contract period with teachers from June 2025 to the end of May 2026. Thus, the contract period for teachers according to Decree No. 111 in Thanh Hoa province will be 12 months (the whole year) and not according to the school year (9 months).

The Standing Committee of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee assigned the Standing Committee of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee to lead the Provincial People's Committee to complete procedures and documents according to regulations to submit to the Provincial People's Council for consideration and decision according to its authority.

This new policy will help contract teachers 111 of the province stabilize their jobs, feel secure in their work, and stick with the profession for a long time.
