More than three years after the Prime Minister approved the investment plan, only 10 hectares out of 435 hectares of land for the Tam Anh – An An Hoa Industrial Park project have been cleared.
The Vice Chairman of Quang Nam province, Mr. Ho Quang Buu, has issued a document requesting the acceleration of compensation and land clearance for the Tam Anh - An An Hoa Industrial Park infrastructure construction and business investment project.
Accordingly, Quang Nam province requested Nui Thanh district, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, and the Provincial Management Board of Economic Zones and Industrial Parks to coordinate in promptly resolving dossiers, procedures, and outstanding issues and obstacles in the compensation and land clearance work of the project.
In case of any issues beyond their authority, they should promptly report to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and resolution…
According to a proposal from An An Hoa Industrial and Urban Area Joint Stock Company, the investor of the Tam Anh – An An Hoa Industrial Park project, land clearance for the project is currently facing many difficulties.
According to this company, as of 3 years and 6 months since the Prime Minister approved the investment plan for the project, compensation has only been completed for 10.66 hectares out of 435.6 hectares.
An An Hoa Industrial and Urban Area Joint Stock Company requests that Quang Nam province prioritize land clearance for the project, so that construction can begin soon and secondary investors can be attracted.
The Tam Anh – An An Hoa Industrial Park project has had its implementation schedule adjusted to four phases.
Specifically, phase 1 will involve investment in an area of approximately 111 hectares; phase 2 will involve investment in an area of approximately 137 hectares; phase 3 will involve an area of approximately 147 hectares; and phase 4 will involve investment in the remaining 40.8 hectares of the project… The project is expected to be fully completed in 2028.
In March 2021, the Prime Minister issued a decision to invest in the construction and operation of the infrastructure of the Tam Anh – An An Hoa industrial park (Nui Thanh district).
The project is being implemented by An An Hoa Industrial and Urban Area Joint Stock Company, covering an area of 435.8 hectares. The total estimated investment is 1,540 billion VND; of which the investor's capital contribution is 462 billion VND.
