More than 35 thousand works entered the "Dream House" painting contest in 2025

On June 15, the award ceremony of the 2025 "Dream House" painting contest took place in Hanoi. With the theme "happy green city", the contest is not only an opportunity for students to show their talent and creativity, but also a place where they can express their dreams of a green, clean and happy living space through painting.

Entering its third season with many innovations, the “Dream House” painting contest has left an impression on many students and parents in terms of its scale of organization and depth of spread. The contest is organized by Vietnam Children’s Magazine - the mouthpiece of the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Children’s Rights.

After more than 2 months of launching, the Organizing Committee received about 35 thousand entries, an increase of 30% compared to the previous competition. After 2 rounds of careful selection, 275 outstanding entries from many students from provinces and cities across the country were selected to continue to the next round.

Speaking at the Award Ceremony, Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Children's Magazine Nguyen Manh Huy shared: "The contest aims to promote the participation of students nationwide, through the language of painting to encourage them to express their thoughts, wishes and creativity. Thereby, raising children's awareness of environmental protection, promoting green actions and sustainable lifestyles. In addition, contributing to nurturing the love of nature in children's souls".

At the 2025 “Dream House” Contest Award Ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded 10 First Prizes, 15 Second Prizes, 20 Third Prizes, 30 Fourth Prizes and 200 Promising Prizes to contestants with excellent works.

According to Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Children Magazine Nguyen Manh Huy, this year's competition season has the participation of many international candidates from countries such as: Korea, Russia, Japan, Sweden, India...

These works have contributed to breathing new life into the competition, bringing multiculturalism and deep humanism through unique ideas.

"The organizers were also very moved to receive paintings drawn with hope from disabled students and students in difficult circumstances... They still entrust their dreams of a beautiful life, expressing their desire to overcome adversity," added Mr. Nguyen Manh Huy.

In addition, the program also received strong attention and response from the community. Manyeducational institutions and students' families accompanied, actively interacted, and spread the event on online platforms throughout the competition.
