Meeting to implement the plan for organizing the Quan The Am Festival.

This afternoon (February 19th), Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee, chaired a meeting to discuss and finalize the plan for organizing the Quan The Am, Ngu Hanh Son Festival in Da Nang City in 2025.

The meeting heard reports and gave opinions on the initial contents of the Quan The Am, Ngu Hanh Son Festival. The festival is expected to take place over four days, from March 16th to 19th, 2025 – corresponding to the 17th, 18th, 19th, and 20th of the second lunar month of the Year of the Snake (2025). The opening and closing times of the festival will be adjusted. As part of the festival activities, the flower float parade will continue to be held; a new running and walking program for peace will be organized in 2025. The festival will have three subcommittees in charge, including: a subcommittee responsible for rituals, foreign relations, and religious beliefs; a subcommittee responsible for culture, arts, sports, information, communication, and tourism; and a subcommittee responsible for ensuring security, social safety, environmental hygiene, health, and commercial civility.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, Head of the Festival Organizing Committee, emphasized that the Quan The Am, Ngu Hanh Son Festival in Da Nang City in 2025 is an opportunity to promote the image of Da Nang's cultural products, tourism , and people, attracting tourists to the city; it is also an opportunity to expand international exchange and cooperation in the field of culture. This is also an activity to commemorate major holidays of the city. Therefore, the festival needs to be held securely, safely, civilly, practically, and effectively.
