4. CCCD
5. Household registration/ household registration revocation paper/ residence confirmation (CT07)
6. Marriage certificate (if any)
7. Certified copy of Business Registration Certificate + Tax payment invoice of the last 3 months + 3-month statement of personal/company account
8. Labor contract + Leave application + salary statement of the last 3 months (If you are an employee)
9. In case of retirement: Retirement card / Retirement decision + Pension statement of the last 3 months

11. Certified copies of real estate documents, other documents and contracts proving income (if any)
If visiting relatives you need to add:
**Visiting students abroad: Invitation letter via email or handwritten, Passport page, Student Visa page, School confirmation letter, Birth certificate.
**Visiting relatives who have immigrated: Invitation letter via email or handwritten, Passport page, Residence card page, Employment confirmation letter (if any), Birth certificate.
**Visiting friends: Invitation letter via email + Passport page.
**Business purpose: Original invitation letter + Decision to send on business trip + Previous transaction contract (if any).
In addition, the most important part of the application is the consent of the parent or legal guardian.
2.1. Consent
In the case of a child under 18 years of age intending to come to Australia, the parent, non-accompanying parent or responsible guardian (the person who has the power to decide where the child lives) will need to sign a consent form allowing the child to be granted an Australian visa.
If the parent or legal guardian is recognised by law as having sole authority to decide where the child lives, that parent or legal guardian only needs to sign a consent form and provide the required documentation. Your parent or legal guardian must complete and sign Form 1229 - Consent to grant an Australian visa to a child under 18 years of age (PDF 276KB) [1] . You must also provide a copy of the driver's licence or passport (or other signed and photographic identification) of the person who signed the form.
Form 1257 - Declaration of Undertaking (PDF 211KB) [2] . This form must be completed and signed by the person nominated by your parent/legal guardian to provide accommodation and be responsible for you during your stay in Australia.
An Australian visa application for a child under 18 years of age must include identification documents (citizen identity card or passport) of the parent, the parent not accompanying the child or the legal guardian who consents to the child's travel to Australia.
The consent form must be authenticated by a local authority or notary office in Vietnam (or relevant country) confirming that they have checked the consenter's personal information and the consent form is signed in the presence of the competent authority.
Please note that under Vietnamese law, even if the child’s parents are divorced or separated, have lost contact or have been declared missing by the court, the applicant must still submit a consent form for the child to travel to Australia unless there is a specific court decision allowing the child to leave. If one of the parents is deceased, a death certificate must also be attached.
If you cannot provide the above documents, you must submit a court decision in Australia or Vietnam allowing the child to leave the country.
2.2. Financial proof
Next is the financial part, you need to prove that you have enough money to pay for your child's trip. Financial documents can be a savings book worth about 200 million VND or more, bank account statements within the last 3-6 months, along with documents proving the sponsor's income such as a labor contract, salary statement or business license. This helps the Australian government feel secure that the child has a clear source of finance, not for the purpose of illegal immigration.
