Instructing over 150 volunteer groups to support people affected by storm No. 3

According to statistics from the provincial Red Cross Society, as of 3:00 p.m. on September 20, the Society had guided over 150 volunteer groups to provide direct support in areas affected by storms and floods; the total support value is estimated at over 1,000 tons of goods, worth over VND50 billion.

Over 100 skilled and experienced technicians support Ha Hoa district people in repairing essential electronic and refrigeration equipment.

This is a practical and meaningful activity, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and sharing for the community of philanthropists and volunteers to share difficulties and provide more motivation for households affected by storm No. 3 in the province.

At the same time, the Provincial Association received nearly 650 million VND in cash and 200 tons of goods and necessities, including: Banh Chung, instant noodles, rice, milk, water, ham, sausage, dry food, blankets, clothes... from 45 organizations and individuals, estimated to be worth 7.8 billion VND.

Volunteers assisted in loading and receiving over 40 tons of support goods from Ho Chi Minh City.

After receiving support, the Provincial Red Cross will organize delegations to directly deliver to households affected by storm No. 3 in localities across the province as soon as possible, thereby contributing to sharing and adding motivation to help people overcome difficulties and quickly restore their lives and livelihoods after natural disasters.
