Cam Lam District Youth Union responds to Vietnam Sea and Islands Week 2025

On the morning of June 5, Cam Lam District Youth Union organized a program to respond to World Environment Day (June 5), World Oceans Day (June 8), Vietnam Sea and Islands Week (from June 1 to 8) in 2025.

At the ceremony, the District Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union called on union members, youth and students to actively promote the spirit of volunteerism, step up environmental protection activities, and contribute to spreading awareness and responsibility for preserving the common environment of the whole society.

After the launching ceremony, union members, youth and students took part in many practical tasks such as: Releasing 4,500 fish fry to regenerate aquatic resources in Thuy Trieu lagoon; hanging banners, billboards, posters in public areas, streets, agency headquarters and suitable locations; collecting waste at Bai Dai beach; launching the collection of waste in general and plastic waste in particular in coastal residential areas, minimizing marine pollution.
