Phuoc Son district learns from economic development experience

In Dak To district, the working delegations of the two districts informed about the socio -economic situation and development opportunities of each locality. The delegation focused on exchanging and sharing some experiences in directing, organizing and implementing national target programs for the period 2021 - 2025.

At the same time, exchange experiences in organizing, managing and implementing programs; skills in monitoring community investment; promote the role and responsibility of the community in implementing the program.

In Dak To, the delegation of Phuoc Son District People's Committee visited models of population arrangement; work to preserve and promote traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities and economic development models, including the model of growing Macadamia trees, raising deer for velvet and the model of raising striped pigs in Terong village (Van Lem commune, Dak To).

In Ia H'Drai district, with a lot of experience in implementing the National Target Program for ethnic minorities and mountainous areas, the working delegation was shared by representatives of the People's Committee of Ia H'Drai district about the implementation methods, methods, and experiences applied in practice.

This locality also shared experiences in developing production, preserving traditional culture, and relocating ethnic minorities. On Phuoc Son’s side, local leaders shared experiences in mobilizing people to change their habits and ways of thinking, focusing on economic development to escape poverty among ethnic minorities.

Mr. Do Hoai Xoan - Vice Chairman of Phuoc Son District People's Committee said that the models in Ia H'Drai District have many similarities with Phuoc Son District. The working trip helped the leaders of the district's departments, the People's Committees of the communes, especially the ethnic minority households and good production households of Phuoc Son District to absorb and learn from experiences.

Thereby, contributing to the effective implementation of national target programs, production models, replicating good practices to contribute to sustainable poverty reduction in the district.

In Ia H'Drai district, the Phuoc Son district delegation visited the fish cage farming model of Se San 4 hydroelectric reservoir, the deer antler farming model of Dong Tien Cooperative; and the South American banana growing model according to VietGAP standards of Duy Tan Investment and Development Joint Stock Company in Ia Dom commune.
