Yen Mo district hands over breeding cows to poor and near-poor households

On the morning of June 16, Yen Mo District People's Committee organized the handover of breeding cows to representatives of poor and near-poor households in Yen Dong, Yen My, Yen Tu, Yen Lam, and Yen Thai communes.

Households receive breeding cows under the poverty reduction project to support production development.

This is a healthy Zebu crossbred cow, with an average weight of 220kg or more, with a 21-day warranty against septicemia, foot and mouth disease and lumpy skin disease.

Within 15 days after delivering the cows, the contractor will continue to provide technical support in caring for, raising and handling situations when the cows are sick, ensuring that the cows grow and develop well...

Households have been surveyed and selected to be eligible to participate in Project 2, Sub-Project 1, Project 3, under the National Target Program for Sustainable Poverty Reduction in Yen Mo district in 2025.

The donation of breeding cows aims to support and diversify livelihoods, build, develop and replicate poverty reduction models and projects, support production development, and achieve the goal of sustainable multidimensional poverty reduction. At the same time, it contributes to completing the poverty reduction target for the period 2021-2025.

Thus, in 2025, Yen Mo district will have 100 poor and near-poor households receiving breeding cows, each household will receive 1 breeding cow.
