Ia Grai creates jobs for about 5,400 workers.

According to the report of the People's Committee of Ia Grai district, from 2021 to 2023, the locality has trained 1,043 rural workers in less than 3 months in occupations such as construction, motorbike repair, interior electricity; agricultural occupations such as coffee growing, rice growing, mushrooms, etc.

At the same time, the district creates jobs for 1,800 workers each year. The district has also effectively implemented a policy to support loans to create jobs for rural workers. In 2021, it disbursed loans of more than VND 8 billion to 242 workers; in 2022, it loaned more than VND 26 billion to 663 workers; in 2023, it loaned more than VND 24 billion to 530 workers. In addition, the district coordinated with the Provincial Employment Service Center to open 4 job fairs, attracting more than 200 workers to participate. In the past 3 years, the district has had 183 people working abroad under contracts.

However, the locality still has some limitations such as vocational training is not linked to job creation, so it has not attracted many vocational workers and job creation only reaches 70% of the total number of learners; support for learners is still low. Every year, capital sources for National Target Programs are allocated late, causing difficulties in implementation. Speaking at the end of the working session, Ms. Vo Thi Bao Ngan requested the Ia Grai District People's Committee to finalize the report to unify the data; supplement data on the annual trained labor quota and the number of workers with jobs as the results of analysis and forecasting of local human resources. Along with that, the district should pay attention to allocating appropriate vocational training quotas in the locality; coordinate with training institutions to provide vocational training and create new jobs for workers, contributing to increasing the rate of trained workers and solving employment problems in the locality.
