During the 2020-2025 term, the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations Party Cell has effectively implemented leadership and direction as well as innovation, improving the quality and efficiency of the Union and its member associations. Proactively inviting experts, scientific and technological intellectuals, leading scientific and technical officials, incumbent or retired, in all professional fields inside and outside the province to participate in the activities of the Union of Associations.

The Party cell has done a good job of political and ideological education, raising awareness for each party member and official in the agency; effectively implementing resolutions and directives of the Central Committee, Provincial Party Committee, and Party Committee. The work of organization, cadres, party members; internal political protection; and leadership of political and social organizations has been effectively implemented.

At the Congress, delegates voted to approve the targets and tasks for the new term. Accordingly, every year, the organization fully and promptly disseminates the Party's directives and resolutions; 100% of Party members and the masses participate in studying; Party cells complete their tasks well or better; at least 90% of Party members complete their tasks well or better. In addition, every year, at least 90% of cadres, civil servants, and workers are classified as completing their tasks well or better; at least 10% of cadres and civil servants achieve the title of grassroots emulation fighter; Trade Union organizations are classified as completing their tasks well or better; the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations is classified as completing their tasks well or better.

At the same time, during the term, the Union of Science and Technology Associations of Gia Lai province admitted at least 1 party member and 1 or more member associations.
