Gia Lai: Coffee exports continue to break through with a figure of 758 million USD

(GLO)- The province's export turnover in the first 6 months of 2025 is estimated at 783.58 million USD (reaching 92.19% of the plan), up 47.85% over the same period. Coffee alone accounted for 96.7% of the province's total export turnover, with an output of 136,200 tons, equivalent to 758 million USD.

Compared to the same period, coffee export turnover increased by 54.69% in value. The main reason is that the export price of coffee increased the most in recent years, the average export price reached about 5,500 USD/ton, an increase of more than 70% over the same period.

Currently, the province has about 30 exporting enterprises, of which 4 enterprises export coffee in large quantities. The coffee export market has expanded to nearly 60 countries in the world , of which the European market accounts for about 60%. Coffee export not only plays a leading role but is also the main factor that accelerates the province's export turnover.
