Indonesia draws with Philippines, coach Shin Tae Yong waits for decisive match against Vietnam team

"We had to play two away games in a row. The time difference and the bad pitch made it slow for us to adapt. Obviously, despite the various difficulties that affected our performance, we did not give up," coach Shin Tae Yong praised his players after the draw.

"In the first 20 minutes, we did not play well. I expected that the team would have difficulties. I was not wrong when my team had difficulties in the first half because of the quality of the pitch.

We had difficulties because of the field conditions but the players showed good spirit so we played better in the second half," the Korean strategist added.
