Intel Corporation has launched two of its latest artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives under the PC AI Advancement Program: the PC AI Developer Program and the addition of independent hardware vendors to the program.
The program focuses on supporting independent software developers and vendors (ISVs) to provide them with a seamless experience and make it easier for them to adopt new AI technologies on a large scale.
In addition, the program provides early access to tools and workflows, AI deployment frameworks, and developer toolkits, including hardware from Intel equipped with Intel Core Ultra processors.
These innovative resources provide developers with a convenient store of tools for AI PCs and general-purpose computers, documentation, and training programs. The aggregation of these resources aims to help developers leverage the full potential of Intel Core Ultra processors to maximize the power of AI and machine learning (ML) applications, while also fostering the development of new real-world scenarios.
This is a significant milestone for Intel in its mission to support the hardware and software ecosystem to optimize and maximize the power of AI on more than 100 million AI PCs equipped with Intel processors between now and 2025.
Furthermore, the inclusion of Independent Hardware Vendors (IHVs) in the AI PC Promotion Program provides IHVs with the opportunity to prepare, optimize, and tailor hardware to support AI PCs. Qualified partners will have access to Intel's Open Labs to receive technical support and co-design hardware solutions and platforms from the early stages of development. Through this program, Intel also provides reference hardware so that qualified IHV partners can test and optimize their technology to ensure it performs optimally upon market launch.
