Mr. Kenneth Tse – The General Director of Intel Vietnam (IPV) stated that Intel Vietnam is currently the largest assembly and testing facility of the Intel Group , accounting for over 50 % of global production , creating over 6,000 jobs and contributing over $ 100 billion in export revenue. Intel is deploying advanced 18A semiconductor chip technology in Vietnam, helping domestic workers access the highest technological standards and improving the quality of the workforce .

Mr. Kenneth Tse also shared that, in the process of global strategic transformation , Intel Corporation ( USA ) plans to transfer part of its assembly , packaging , and testing operations from its factory in Costa Rica to Vietnam. He hopes that Ho Chi Minh City will support the business in the procedures for obtaining operating permits for machinery and equipment , and ensure aviation security for imported shipments .
