By the second quarter of 2025, Intel Vietnam's cumulative export turnover has exceeded the 100 billion USD mark, with the introduction of semiconductor chip products using the most advanced 18A technology . The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee expressed his hope that Intel Products Vietnam will become a center of excellence in advanced packaging and testing , where Intel 's most complex and valuable products are completed and launched to the world .

Mr. Kenneth Tse – General Director of Intel Vietnam (IPV) said that Intel Vietnam is currently the largest assembly and testing facility of Intel Corporation , accounting for more than 50% of global production , creating more than 6,000 jobs and contributing more than 100 billion USD in export turnover. Intel is deploying advanced 18A semiconductor chip technology in Vietnam, helping domestic workers access the highest technology standards and improve human resource quality .

Mr. Kenneth Tse also shared that, in the process of global strategic transformation , Intel Corporation (USA ) plans to transfer part of its assembly , packaging and testing activities from its factory in Costa Rica to Vietnam. He hopes that Ho Chi Minh City will support businesses in licensing procedures for operating machinery and equipment and ensuring aviation security for imported shipments .
