Iranintl reported that in a speech on September 6, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi said that although the negotiations have not been removed from the agenda, they will enter a new phase.
“We are not saying that negotiations have been removed from the agenda, but the dialogue certainly needs to take on a new form and scale as new concerns and factors emerge,” Foreign Minister Araghchi stressed.

According to Foreign Minister Araghchi, Iran is exchanging messages with the US through intermediaries.
"When the US is ready to have dialogue based on common interests and mutual respect, we will resume negotiations," he said.
Iran's foreign minister added that Tehran's talks with European countries are continuing and he hopes the two sides will reach a mutual understanding.
Iranian diplomats in Vienna also held talks with the UN nuclear watchdog on September 6 to reach a new framework for cooperation.
"As far as I know, the talks went well. We are very close to reaching an agreement on a new framework for cooperation with the agency," Iran's foreign minister said.
