Jennifer Lawrence responded to fan speculation that Miley Cyrus's Flowers music video is a veiled reference to The Hunger Games actress and her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth.
Jennifer Lawrence cleared up rumors of her relationship with Liam Hemsworth
On the June 25 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen , Jennifer Lawrence (32) was asked about the rumors and fan theories surrounding Miley Cyrus' hit song Flowers , which Cyrus (30) released on Liam Hemsworth's 33rd birthday in January 2023.
MC Andy Cohen (55 years old) asked, "There has been a lot of talk that this music video refers to the secret relationship you had with Liam Hemsworth while he was with Miley Cyrus."
"Not true. Not true, totally a rumor," Jennifer Lawrence replied.
The No Hard Feelings star continued: "I mean, we all know Liam and I kissed once," referring to their on-screen kiss in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 .

"So I guess it's like a coincidence," the actress added of the Flower music video, which features Miley Cyrus wearing a yellow dress that some fans think is reminiscent of the dress Lawrence wore to the 2012 Los Angeles premiere of The Hunger Games .
"Thank you for clearing that up," Cohen said. Jennifer Lawrence laughed: "Yeah, I'm glad."
Jennifer Lawrence has an on-screen love triangle in The Hunger Games series with co-stars Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson.
Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus met in 2009 while filming The Last Song , and dated for several years before getting engaged in 2012. The two postponed their wedding in April 2013 and called off their engagement altogether in September of that year.
They got back together, rekindling their engagement in early 2016. Cyrus and Hemsworth then married in December 2018 before separating in August 2019. The two officially divorced in February 2020.
Liam Hemsworth is currently dating actress Gabriella Brooks, while Cyrus is dating drummer Maxx Morando.
Jennifer Lawrence married art dealer Cooke Maroney in 2019, and they have a son together named Cy.
