According to Tuttosport , Mbangula is about to join Werder Bremen in a deal worth 13 million euros. The Serie A club made a huge profit from this deal as they only had to spend 400,000 euros to bring Mbangula from Anderlecht in 2020.
Meanwhile, Juventus are finalising the transfer of Timothy Weah, son of the legendary George Weah, to Marseille. The 25-year-old striker has reached a personal agreement with the French club. Juventus hope to earn at least 15 million euros from the deal.
The sale of the two players will help the Turin team have enough budget to complete the Sancho deal. According to Sport Mediaset , Juventus proposed a four-year contract, with a basic salary of 6 million euros per season, plus bonuses for Sancho.
To convince MU to agree to release the player, Juventus met the 25 million euro transfer fee for Sancho, including a series of easy-to-achieve bonuses.
Juventus also received goodwill from Sancho when the midfielder accepted a pay cut to play in Italy. This move shows Sancho's determination to revive his career after an unsuccessful time playing at Chelsea.
Juventus director Damien Comolli aims to sign Sancho before July 24, when the team begins training for the new season.
