The Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA Hanoi) has successfully organized a Direct Trade Event (1:1) between a business delegation from Ulsan city, Korea and Vietnamese importers in Hanoi .
7 reputable Korean manufacturers/suppliers introduced Ulsan's strong products including: Cosmetics, agricultural and industrial materials and chemicals. This Korean business delegation received special attention from many Vietnamese importers. Through the event, Vietnamese businesses hope to learn and expand new import opportunities from Korea during the recovery period after the Covid-19 pandemic.

More than 20 Vietnamese enterprises through nearly 40 trade meetings (1:1) this time found suitable Korean suppliers.
Ms. Dang Thanh Thuy, Director of LITANHA Vietnam Pharmaceutical Joint Venture Company, highly appreciated this direct trade meeting between Vietnamese and Korean enterprises. “Vietnam and Korea have been each other’s prestigious trading partners for many years and products from Korea are a trend among Vietnamese consumers. This is the third time I have attended a trade meeting with Korean enterprises. I am very impressed with the quality and design of products from Korea and within the framework of this event, I also met suppliers with great potential for cooperation,” Ms. Thuy confirmed.
Coming to Vietnam for the third time to seek cooperation opportunities, Mr. Park Jeong Ok, Director of Evergreen Plus Company, said that Vietnam is one of the countries with the highest growth rate in Southeast Asia and one of Vietnam's strengths is agricultural production and agricultural product export. Mr. Park Jeong Ok believes that Evergreen Plus' organic fertilizer products will have great potential in the Vietnamese market. Because Vietnam has increasingly high requirements in production, to meet the high standards of the export markets that Vietnam is aiming for.

According to Ms. Tran Thi Hai Yen, Head of KOTRA Hanoi Office, in the first 5 months of 2023, KOTRA Hanoi has organized 25 direct and online trade events between Korean business delegations and potential Vietnamese importers. Strengthening trade promotion remains a key activity to contribute to bringing Vietnam-Korea trade turnover to 100 billion USD by 2023.
