Connecting trade between suppliers in the North Central region with export enterprises and trade promotion organizations

This afternoon, June 7, in Dong Ha City, the People's Committee of Quang Tri province coordinated with the Ministry of Industry and Trade to organize a conference to connect trade (B2B) between suppliers in the North Central region with export enterprises and trade promotion organizations in 2024.

Products displayed and participating in the connection are OCOP products, typical rural industrial products, typical products of localities; agricultural products, industrial products, handicraft products, services. Products participating in the connection must meet standards on quality, food hygiene and safety, ensure full labels, origin, provenance... be legally circulated in the market and meet export requirements.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Tien requested the Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center and the Department of Industry and Trade to continue to closely coordinate with the Department of Industry and Trade, Trade Promotion Centers of the North Central provinces and the whole country to proactively and actively propose solutions to support businesses in connecting in supplying and consuming products, especially focusing on sustainable supply chains, originating from the actual needs of the market.

Every year, increase the number of direct supply-demand connection events, and at the same time research and develop online connection platforms between suppliers and distributors. Implement in-depth connections, not only creating conditions for buyers and sellers to meet and seek orders, but also supporting manufacturers to improve quality, design, diversify products; build and develop brands.

At the conference, a signing ceremony of cooperation agreements between suppliers in the North Central region and export enterprises and trade promotion organizations in Quang Tri in 2024 took place. More than 50 memorandums of understanding on cooperation commitments were signed between enterprises and units participating in the conference.
