KOTRA Hanoi said that on May 25 at Novotel Thai Ha Hotel, Hanoi , a business delegation from Ulsan city, Korea will have a direct trade meeting with Vietnamese importers.
Vietnam and South Korea set a target of reaching a total two-way trade turnover of 100 billion USD by 2023. In addition, Vietnam has set many higher goals, especially in the investment sector, which will attract many large projects with high added value and high technology content from Korean investors, forming a global production and distribution value chain in Vietnam.
With the aim of enhancing trade cooperation opportunities as well as creating new business opportunities for Vietnamese-Korean enterprises, the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA Hanoi) continuously organizes trade events with Korean exporters. In 2023, KOTRA Hanoi will conduct 70-80 direct/online trade events to connect more than 1,000 Korean enterprises with more than 1,500 Vietnamese purchasing enterprises.
Accordingly, on May 25 at Novotel Thai Ha Hotel, Hanoi, a business delegation from Ulsan City, Korea will have a direct trade meeting with Vietnamese importers. The delegation includes 7 typical businesses in the fields of: Cosmetics; chemicals; industrial equipment and supplies and fertilizers. These are the strong manufacturing industries of Ulsan City and their products are being exported to many countries around the world . More than 40 working sessions (1:1) have been arranged by KOTRA Hanoi according to the needs of businesses of the two countries on the upcoming trade day.
Ulsan is a city located in the southeast of Korea and is the 7th largest city in Korea with a population of over 1.1 million people. The city has one of the largest industrial production areas in Korea, called the Ulsan Industrial Zone. Shipbuilding, oil refining, automobile manufacturing and heavy industries have been and are being strongly developed here. With a humid tropical monsoon climate that often rains a lot and has high humidity in the summer, Ulsan is favorable for the production of agricultural products (fruits, coffee, etc.) and agricultural products (confectionery, soft drinks, etc.).
