Opening of training class on microchip design and semiconductor manufacturing technology

The class consists of 25 students who are officers and lecturers at universities and colleges in Dong Nai province who are teaching and researching in related fields.

The class's lecturers come from Ho Chi Minh City National University and are experts with deep expertise and practical experience in the fields of semiconductor technology, microchips and MEMS (microelectromechanical systems).

Students will study theory combined with practice at the Department of Science and Technology, Ho Chi Minh City National University Administration, Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park and partner companies of Ho Chi Minh City National University.

At the opening ceremony of the class, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Duong Minh Dung said that organizing this training class is a concrete step, demonstrating Dong Nai's determination in investing in knowledge, arousing the potential for research, innovation and application in the field of semiconductor technology.

From there, gradually implement the plan of the Provincial People's Committee to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo and related resolutions and plans of the Government and the Provincial Party Committee on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation in the province. At the same time, implement the plan of the Provincial People's Committee on implementing the strategy for developing Vietnam's semiconductor industry to 2030 and vision to 2050 in the province.

The provincial leaders emphasized that the class not only helps equip professional knowledge but also opens up opportunities for the staff, engineers, and specialists in the province to connect with a network of experienced experts and lecturers from leading research and training centers in the country. This is an important foundation for the province to continue to form an innovation ecosystem and develop high technology.
