Opening of Khmer language training class

(HG) - The People's Committee of Long My district has just coordinated to open a Khmer language training class for about 70 students, who are officials, civil servants, and public employees of category 3 and category 4 at the district and commune levels.

During the 2-month period, students will be provided with 4 basic Khmer language skills, including: listening, speaking, reading, writing, to improve their knowledge, communication skills, and better serve the management and service of the people in the ethnic language of the Khmer people. This program is part of the content 1 - Sub-project 2 of Project 5 under the content of the National Target Program on Socio -Economic Development of Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas in 2023 in Long My district. Thereby, to raise awareness of ethnic work, policies, update knowledge, ethnic minority culture, improve professional qualifications, skills, and skills in using ethnic minority languages for cadres, civil servants, and public employees working in ethnic minority areas; Contact and work directly with ethnic minorities to contribute to effectively implementing propaganda and mobilizing ethnic minorities to develop socio-economy according to the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws, strengthening the great national unity bloc.
