Speaking at the opening of the conference, Professor Tran Thanh Van - Chairman of the Vietnam Rencontres du Vietnam, Director of the ICISE Center said: The international conference "100 years of Quantum Physics" will take place from October 6-9, 2025. This is a particularly important scientific event, responding to the initiative "International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (IYQ)" announced by the United Nations on June 7, 2024, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the development of quantum science. At the same time, it is also an opportunity to honor Professor Serge Haroche, Winner of the 2012 Nobel Prize in Physics, who has made many outstanding contributions to the field of Quantum Physics. He is also the 19th Nobel professor to come to Gia Lai province and the ICISE Center since the center came into operation in 2013.
Professor Tran Thanh Van delivered the opening speech at the conference.
At the conference, graduate students and young scientists will have the opportunity to present their work results and receive direct professional feedback from leading international scientists. In addition, roundtable discussions are held to create an open space for academic exchange, spread new ideas, form common research directions, and promote the development of collaborative projects between Vietnamese and international laboratories.
In his welcome speech at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lam Hai Giang said that the leaders of Gia Lai province highly appreciated and respected the great contributions that ICISE has been making.
