Mr. Bui Van Manh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Director of Ninh Binh Department of Tourism spoke at the opening ceremony

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Bui Van Manh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Tourism affirmed: After the merger, Ninh Binh will own the most diverse tourism ecosystem in the North, in which 90km of coastline stretching through Kim Son, Giao Thuy, Hai Hau opens up a large development space for sea tourism. Besides valuable natural potentials, the coastal area also has many traditional craft villages, unique cultural heritages, a system of ancient churches, beautiful beaches and Xuan Thuy National Park - the first Ramsar site in Southeast Asia. This is an important foundation for the province to develop resort - ecological - community - spiritual sea tourism products. However, Ninh Binh sea tourism is still developing fragmentedly, lacking typical products and tourism infrastructure has not met the requirements. Therefore, the tourism industry is consulting on building a project to develop sea tourism in a professional, smart direction, associated with the community and environmental protection. By 2030, the whole province aims to welcome 30-35 million visitors, of which sea tourists account for about 20%, forming at least 5 typical regional sea tourism products.

To achieve the above goals, the tourism industry has identified a number of key groups of solutions: perfecting planning and investing in coastal tourism infrastructure; developing tourism products associated with salt production, fishing, and traditional craft villages; building a separate brand for Ninh Binh sea tourism; improving the quality of human resources and local community awareness of sustainable tourism development.
The training course is a practical activity, initiating a new development phase of Ninh Binh sea tourism, contributing to realizing the goal of developing green - smart - sustainable tourism, connecting the community and integrating internationally.
