Opening of advanced Animal Husbandry and Veterinary practice room at Vinh University

On the afternoon of August 6, Vinh University held the opening ceremony of the Advanced Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Practice Room, marking an important step forward in improving the quality of training and scientific research in the Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine sector.

Attending the ceremony were Prof. Kim Nam Soo - Project Director, experts from Jeonbuk National University, Korea; On Vinh University's side, there were Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Hien, Party Secretary, Chairman of the University Council, along with leaders, lecturers and students of the school, and representatives of businesses in the fields of livestock and veterinary medicine.

This activity is within the framework of the Project "International cooperation of leading universities: Advanced training in Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine at Vinh University" sponsored by the Korean Government , in coordination between Vinh University and Jeonbuk National University (Korea).

Speaking at the ceremony, the leader of Vinh University said: The school is a multidisciplinary university, with more than 30 years of experience in training human resources for the fields of agriculture and rural development. Currently, the school trains 7 undergraduate majors and 2 postgraduate majors in the fields of Agriculture and Natural Resources, including Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine.

In order to meet the increasing demands of society and the labor market, the school constantly strengthens international cooperation, especially in training and research in specialized fields.

At the ceremony, representatives of Vinh University and Jeonbuk National University, Korea cut the ribbon to inaugurate the advanced Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Practice Room, with 3 practice rooms, including: Animal Husbandry and Basic Veterinary Practice Room, Veterinary Surgery Room and Veterinary Molecular Biology Diagnosis Room.

These labs are equipped with modern equipment supported by Korea, effectively serving the teaching, practice and scientific research of lecturers and students.

The leaders of Vinh University would like to express their deep gratitude to the Korean Government, Jeonbuk National University and especially Prof. Kim Nam Soo - who has accompanied and enthusiastically supported throughout the project implementation process. The event is a vivid demonstration of the effectiveness of international cooperation, while opening up strong development prospects for the Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine industry in the North Central region and the whole country.

By receiving and putting into use modern practice rooms, Vinh University is committed to effectively exploiting the advanced equipment and machinery system equipped. The school will actively innovate teaching methods, improve the quality of practical learning for students, and at the same time promote in-depth training and applied research in the fields of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine. This will be an important foundation for Vinh University to continue to affirm its role as a prestigious training institution, contributing to providing high-quality human resources for the modern agricultural sector.
