Medical examination and medicine for people in Duong Minh Chau district

On June 11 and 12, the 279th Engineer Brigade coordinated with the Military Medical Department - Technical Logistics Department, the Engineer Corps and local authorities to organize a program to examine, treat and distribute medicine to people in Phan and Suoi Da communes, Duong Minh Chau district.

Attending the event were Major General Dinh Ngoc Tuong - Political Commissar of the Engineering Corps; Ms. Huynh Vuong Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Duong Minh Chau district.

Dispense medicine to people.

At the program, 400 policy beneficiaries, including people with revolutionary contributions, relatives of martyrs and poor households in Phan and Suoi Da communes, received general health check-ups, blood pressure measurements, health care consultations, physical therapy treatment and instructions on how to prevent some common diseases from doctors, nurses and medical staff of Brigade 279.

In addition, people were also given medicine and functional products to improve nutrition and enhance their health. The total cost of implementing the program was more than 300 million VND.
