In Rao Tre village, Phuc Trach commune, Ha Tinh province, the Defense Command of Region 2, the Provincial Military Command, in coordination with Ha Tinh General Hospital and Ban Giang Border Guard Station, has just organized health check-ups, consultations and provided free medicine for the Chut ethnic group and people in difficult circumstances and living alone in Phuc Trach commune.

Doctors and nurses from Ha Tinh General Hospital and military doctors from the Defense Command of Region 2 and Ban Giang Border Post conducted screening examinations, measured blood pressure, performed ultrasounds, provided treatment advice for common diseases, distributed free medicine, and instructed people on how to take care of their health and prevent epidemics.
Nearly 50 officers, military medics and doctors organized medical examinations and provided free medicine to more than 220 people (total cost of nearly 60 million VND).

The activities of health examination, health consultation and free medicine distribution contribute to health care, are a bridge to strengthen the solidarity between the army and the people, and contribute to spreading the good values of the tradition of "When drinking water, remember the source", "The whole leaves cover the torn leaves". At the same time, it propagates and mobilizes the Chut ethnic group and ethnic minorities in Phuc Trach commune to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws and local regulations.

This is also a practical activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the traditional day of the Armed Forces of Ha Tinh province (August 18, 1945 - August 18, 2025).
