In Rao Tre village, Phuc Trach commune, Ha Tinh province, the Command of Defense Zone 2, Provincial Military Command, in coordination with Ha Tinh General Hospital and Ban Giang Border Guard Post, recently organized free health check-ups, consultations, and medication distribution for the Chut ethnic minority and disadvantaged, lonely people in Phuc Trach commune.

Doctors and medical staff from Ha Tinh General Hospital and military medical personnel from the Command of Defense Zone 2 and Ban Giang Border Guard Post conducted screening examinations, measured blood pressure, performed ultrasounds, provided advice on treating common illnesses, distributed free medicine, and guided local people on how to take care of their health and prevent diseases.
Nearly 50 officers, military medical personnel, and doctors organized free medical examinations and provided free medicine to over 220 people (total cost nearly 60 million VND).

The free health check-ups, consultations, and medication distribution contribute to healthcare, strengthen the solidarity between the military and the people, and spread the positive values of the traditions of "remembering the source when drinking water" and "helping those in need." At the same time, it promotes and encourages the Chứt ethnic minority and other ethnic minorities in Phuc Trach commune to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and regulations, and local regulations.

This is also a practical activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the traditional day of the armed forces of Ha Tinh province (August 18, 1945 - August 18, 2025).
