On the morning of June 11, Comrade Luu Van Ban, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee, worked with the National Power Transmission Corporation on implementing solutions to speed up the progress of two power transmission projects passing through the province.
Attending the meeting were leaders of the National Power Transmission Corporation.
The two power transmission projects passing through Hai Duong are the 500 kV Hai Phong – Thai Binh transmission line project and the 220 kV Hai Phong – Gia Loc transmission line project.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Luu Van Ban, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, emphasized that these are two national key projects directed by the Prime Minister and required to be completed in August 2025, so the progress is very urgent. Therefore, departments, branches and localities need to urgently deploy and immediately start working with the most determined spirit.
The National Power Transmission Corporation and the consulting unit need to coordinate closely with local authorities where the power line passes through to clearly define the boundaries, route direction, data on constructions, houses, and architectural objects that need to be cleared so that localities can develop plans for land recovery and site clearance. By June 16 at the latest, districts must have a plan to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and decision.
Relevant departments and branches closely coordinate and guide the three localities where the line passes through, namely Tu Ky, Ninh Giang and Gia Loc, in compensation, site clearance and resettlement support. The Department of Agriculture and Environment is responsible for coordinating with localities on land data for site clearance and land recovery. The Hai Phong - Thai Binh 500 kV transmission line project has a construction scale of 500 kV transmission line including 2 circuits, about 38.3 km long. The starting point is from Hai Phong 500 kV transformer station and ends at Thai Binh 500 kV transformer station. The transmission line running through Tu Ky district is about 10.1 km long at 26 column foundation locations. The safety corridor passes through about 21 residential buildings, 10 livestock barns, and 4 stilt houses of households.
The 220 kV Hai Phong – Gia Loc transmission line project is invested and constructed in An Lao and Tien Lang districts (Hai Phong city); Tu Ky, Ninh Giang and Gia Loc districts (Hai Duong) with a total length of about 31.84 km. The section passing through Hai Duong province is about 24.45 km long.
The projects aim to ensure safe and stable power supply for the load in Hai Phong City, Hai Duong Province and neighboring areas; improve voltage quality, reduce technical losses and strengthen connectivity and flexible operation of the transmission grid in the area...
