
Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Planning and Investment to take the lead and coordinate with relevant departments, agencies, localities, and units to urgently finalize the plan for implementing the provincial planning according to the guidance of the Ministry of Planning and Investment in Official Letter No. 2540 dated April 5, 2024.
In this document, the Ministry of Planning and Investment requests the People's Committees of provinces and centrally-administered cities to urgently develop plans for implementing the provincial planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, to be submitted to the Prime Minister for promulgation as prescribed.
The process of developing and submitting to the Prime Minister for promulgation the plan for implementing the provincial planning must ensure consistency and synchronization with the planning and implementation plans of higher-level planning and the provincial planning; and comply with the provisions of the law on planning, the law on public investment, and the law on investment.
The provincial planning implementation plan must adhere strictly to the plan approved by the Prime Minister and be consistent with the province's ability to mobilize resources and its development realities.
Previously, the Provincial People's Committee also assigned the Department of Planning and Investment to take the lead and coordinate with relevant units to advise the Provincial People's Committee on developing a plan for implementing the provincial planning with an appropriate roadmap, consistent with reality and ensuring feasibility. The Provincial People's Committee requested the completion of the provincial planning implementation plan by May 2024 .
