Khanh Hoa supports 100% of tuition fees at public educational institutions

On September 17, Mr. Vo Hoan Hai, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Khanh Hoa province, said that recently, the People's Council delegates of this province unanimously approved a resolution regulating tuition support policies for preschool children, high school students, and continuing education students studying at public educational institutions in the 2024-2025 school year in the province.

Accordingly, the support level is 100% of tuition fees for the 9 months students attend class. The total cost of implementing this policy is more than 75 billion VND.

The Director of the Department of Education and Training of Khanh Hoa province said that recently, due to the impact of natural disasters and epidemics, the socio -economic situation and people's lives in the province still face many difficulties.

Faced with this situation, Khanh Hoa province has paid great attention to the education sector.

Specifically, in the 2021-2022 and 2023-2024 school years, Khanh Hoa province supported 50% of tuition fees for preschool children, high school students, and continuing education students studying at public educational institutions in the province; and in the 2024-2025 school year, the province supported 100% of tuition fees for the above subjects.

This policy will share difficulties and help reduce the financial burden on parents and students; and minimize the number of students dropping out of school.
