Accordingly, the Kate Festival 2025 will take place over three days, from October 20 to 22, 2025, with a series of solemn and seamless traditional rituals.
Specifically: The opening ceremony is an important ceremony at 1:30 p.m. on October 20, when people from Huu Duc, Tan Duc, and Thanh Duc villages (Phuoc Huu commune) organize a ceremony to bring Po Inư Nưgar costumes from the Raglai people in Phuoc Ha commune to the temple in Huu Duc village.
Next, at 6:30 a.m. on October 21, the highlight of the Festival will take place with the Council of Dignitaries and the Customs Committee of Po Klong Garai and Po Rome towers, and Po Inư Nưgar temple together conducting traditional Kate rituals.
Finally, on October 22, the Festival atmosphere will continue to spread, held in villages, clans and within Cham Brahmin families throughout Khanh Hoa province.
The Cham Brahman Council of Dignitaries, religious dignitaries and the Cham Brahman community will be responsible for organizing the "Ceremony" at temples, towers, villages and families following Brahmanism, on the basis of preserving and promoting the good traditional values of the Kate Festival.
Besides the solemn "Ceremony", the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province also closely coordinates with units to organize a series of rich, diverse and unique cultural, sports and tourism activities to serve the people and attract domestic and international tourists.
Specifically, the Cham Cultural Exhibition and Display Space will be held from October 17 to October 23, 2025 at the Po Rome Tower Exhibition House and Po Klong Garai Tower, introducing artifacts, images, traditional crafts and unique customs of the Cham people.
The highlight is the special Art Program to celebrate the Kate Festival, taking place at 7:00 p.m. on October 20, 2025 at Huu Duc Village Stadium, Phuoc Huu Commune.

October 21, 2025 will be a vibrant day with many activities: The art program "Welcoming the Kate Festival 2025" will be held in the morning at Cham temples, towers and villages. The Cham Writing Contest with the theme "Bright handwriting - Preserving the Cham soul" at Po Klong Garai Tower area, encourages children and students to write poems and short paragraphs in Cham.
The Folk Sports Competition at Po Klong Garai Tower Area, with tug of war, sack jumping and water jar obstacle course, attracted both tourists and local people to participate.
In addition, product exhibition and introduction activities will also be held at the parking lot of Po Klong Garai Tower area, with booths promoting cuisine, fashion and local specialties. Finally, a delegation will be organized to visit and present gifts to the Cham Brahman Council of Dignitaries on the occasion of the Festival, showing care and respect for tradition.
Talking to Van Hoa reporter, Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa, Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, affirmed that all preparations have been almost completed, ready for the opening day. This year's Kate Festival is especially important as for the first time Khanh Hoa has implemented the project "Preserving and promoting the value of the Kate Festival of the Cham people in the period 2025 - 2030".
The event is organized on a large scale, not only serving local people but also aiming to attract a large number of domestic and international tourists, through a series of unique cultural, artistic, sports and tourism activities associated with Cham culture, to honor the national intangible cultural heritage.
