Inauguration of the "Bridge of Happiness" project

On September 22, Son La Provincial Youth Union coordinated with the National Volunteer Center and the 2,000 Strength Project to organize the inauguration ceremony of the "Bridge of Happiness" project in Cho Cong village, Phieng Cam commune. This is a youth project to welcome the 16th Congress of Son La Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030 and celebrate the 130th anniversary of the founding of Son La province (October 10, 1895 - October 10, 2025).

Delegates cut the ribbon to inaugurate the spillway.

The spillway bridge project across the stream in Cho Cong village (in Chieng Noi commune, old Mai Son district, affected by floods in August 2024) connects the residential area with the village's kindergarten and primary school. The project started in December 2024; the bridge is designed to be 35 m long and more than 4 m wide. The total cost of implementation is 470 million VND, sponsored by the National Volunteer Center, the 2000 Strength Project, the Online Mobile Services Joint Stock Company (Momo mobile money), and the Child-rearing Ecosystem.

The project has practical significance, aiming to share difficulties with the locality in developing transport infrastructure. At the same time, it helps students go to school more conveniently, solving the travel needs of households in the village.

On this occasion, the Provincial Youth Union gave gifts to the village and 20 Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to children in Cho Cong village.
