Inauguration of the project to upgrade and expand Ton Duc Thang Street

On the morning of June 26, the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Binh City held an inauguration ceremony for the project to upgrade and expand Ton Duc Thang Street, from Trinh Tu Street to Ninh Khanh Urban Area. This is a project to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Ninh Binh City (June 30, 1954 - June 30, 2024).

Attending the inauguration ceremony were comrade Tran Song Tung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of relevant departments and branches.

The project will start construction from December 2022 to June 2024. The total length of the road is 855m, from the intersection with Trinh Tu Street to Ninh Khanh urban area, the asphalt concrete road surface with a synchronous technical infrastructure system. The total investment of the project is more than 84 billion VND, from the budget of Ninh Binh city and other legal sources.

During the implementation process, the City People's Committee has directed the City Construction Investment Project Management Board (the unit assigned by the City People's Committee as the investor) to closely coordinate with relevant departments, branches and units to speed up progress, carry out construction investment in accordance with investment procedures, fully implement regulations on construction investment project management and construction quality management.

The construction of the Ton Duc Thang Street upgrade and expansion project has received high consensus and support from organizations and individuals within the scope of influence of the project. Many households have voluntarily donated land, dismantled assets, architectural objects, etc. to create favorable conditions for handing over the site to the construction unit, contributing to the completion of the project according to the set plan.

Provincial and city leaders visited the route.

The completed route will contribute to improving the city's technical infrastructure and promoting local socio -economic development.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the leaders of Ninh Binh city requested relevant departments, offices, units, and the People's Committee of Ninh Khanh ward to do a good job of managing urban order, environmental sanitation, traffic safety and order, and promote the function and efficiency of the newly invested and constructed Ton Duc Thang street.
