Inauguration of high-end optical electronic components factory at VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park

The leaders of Nghe An province attending the ceremony included comrades: Nguyen Duc Trung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Le Hong Vinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Bui Thanh An - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of departments, branches, sectors and localities.

On the investor side, there was Mr. Vuong Duc Sieu - Chairman of Radiant Opto - Electronics Group; representing the industrial park infrastructure investor was Mr. Teng Wei Hong - General Director of VSIP Nghe An Co., Ltd. Also attending were partners, customers and suppliers of the project.

Nghe An is an important production center of Radiant Opto - Electronics Group in Southeast Asia.

Radiant Opto - Electronics Vietnam Nghe An Factory Project is built on an area of about 7 hectares in VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park, invested by Radiant Opto - Electronics Group, specializing in the production of high-end optical electronic components such as backlight modules (BLU), light guide plates (LGP), brightness enhancing films (BEF), plastic frame molding (M/F forming)...

These are all key products in the modern electronics industrial supply chain, with high added value, making important contributions to the high-tech industrial development strategy of Nghe An province.

To date, the project has completed and put into operation Phase 1, Phase 2 of the production area and Phase 4.1 of the worker and expert accommodation area.

The project's rapid implementation progress and modern scale clearly demonstrate the investor's determination, capacity and reputation, and at the same time reflect the timely support and accompaniment of the Nghe An provincial government when, within just 9 days since the investor submitted the proposal (from December 12 to 21, 2023), the province granted the project an Investment Registration Certificate.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Vuong Duc Sieu - Chairman of Radiant Opto - Electronics Group expressed his sincere and deep gratitude to the leaders of Nghe An province, departments, branches, and all partners, staff, engineers, and workers who have accompanied him throughout the project implementation process.

“We chose Nghe An with great confidence in this land with its young, talented human resources, stable investment environment and favorable geographical location, convenient connection to Southeast Asia and international markets. All of these factors make us believe that Nghe An will become an important driving force to help Radiant Opto - Electronics Corporation move forward firmly in the future,” Mr. Vuong Duc Sieu shared.

The Chairman of Radiant Opto - Electronics emphasized that in the coming period, the factory in Nghe An will not only undertake important production tasks but also pioneer the application of ideas on smart manufacturing, green energy and sustainable management. This will be an important operating center in the Southeast Asia region, and at the same time a symbol of innovation, quality and trust of the Group.

According to Mr. Vuong Duc Sieu, Radiant Opto - Electronics Corporation will continue to create value for global customers through efficient, high-quality production processes, while fully implementing the company's commitment to society and the environment, becoming a model of harmonious combination of technology, responsibility and innovation for sustainable development.

Mr. Vuong Duc Sieu also expressed his hope that through this factory, cooperation between partners and staff from Taiwan and Vietnam will be further promoted, opening up many opportunities for learning, technical exchange and cultural exchange, together moving towards new achievements in the common development journey.

Representing the infrastructure investor, Mr. Teng Wei Hong - General Director of VSIP Nghe An Co., Ltd. shared that VSIP Nghe An is proud to accompany Radiant Opto - Electronics Group, one of the world's leading manufacturers of optical components and base modules.

Mr. Teng Wei Hong hopes that Radiant Opto - Electronics Group will continue to promote research, transfer advanced technology, train local human resources, move towards localizing the supply chain and become a pioneer enterprise bringing the semiconductor industry to Nghe An.

An important milestone in Nghe An's investment attraction work

On behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Bui Thanh An - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, congratulated Radiant Opto - Electronics Group, affirming that today's ceremony not only marks the important development of the project but also demonstrates the close cooperation relationship between Nghe An province and international investors, aiming at developing high-tech industry, contributing to improving production capacity and creating high-quality job opportunities for the locality.

He sincerely thanked the investors for choosing Nghe An province as an investment destination and believed that when the project comes into operation, it will contribute to completing the supply chain in the field of optical electronics; create more high-quality job opportunities for local workers, contribute to the economic and social development in the area and shift the economic structure to create momentum for the province to achieve the goal of rapid and sustainable development.

Comrade Bui Thanh An also acknowledged the active support and companionship of the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board, relevant departments, branches and localities in completing procedures and in the construction process for investors; congratulated the results achieved in the process of implementing industrial park projects and attracting investment of VSIP Nghe An Company Limited in the past time.

Emphasizing the motto of taking trust and satisfaction of enterprises as the core goal to promote economic development, the Standing Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee requested the Management Board of Southeast Economic Zone, VSIP Nghe An Company Limited, relevant departments, branches, localities, and functional units to proactively coordinate and promptly support in resolving difficulties, problems, recommendations and proposals of investors during the operation process so that the project can be operated smoothly, effectively and develop sustainably.

He also requested VSIP Nghe An Company Limited to speed up the implementation of VSIP Nghe An III Industrial Park project with the model of a multi-industry supporting industrial park to continue attracting secondary investors, especially partners of investors already present at VSIP Nghe An I Industrial Park.

Affirming that the event is an important milestone in the province's investment attraction work, contributing to raising Nghe An's reputation on the international investment attraction map, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Thanh An emphasized: Nghe An always accompanies, supports, and creates the best conditions for investors, and at the same time hopes that Radiant Opto - Electronics Group and its partners will continue to develop sustainably, expand production investment, contribute to the socio-economic development of the province, promote localization, and link with local enterprises for mutual development.

Next, the leaders of Nghe An province, along with delegates and investors, performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony, inaugurating the Radiant Opto - Electronics Vietnam Nghe An Factory, officially putting the project into operation.

After the ceremony, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duc Trung, Provincial People's Committee Chairman Le Hong Vinh and delegates visited the factory's production area, directly heard about the technological line, management model, modern optical component production process and development orientation in the coming time.

Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duc Trung expressed his impression and high appreciation for the scale and advanced technology of the factory; at the same time, affirmed Nghe An province's strong commitment to continue accompanying and providing maximum support to the Group in the process of operating, expanding production and long-term development in the locality.
